Bowen Sanderson, better known as NXSTY, is a Vancouver-based electronic music producer and DJ who began his musical journey at the age of fourteen. Over the years, he has experimented with a wide array of genres, ultimately focusing on bass and trap music. NXSTY's sound is characterized by aggressive bass stabs and deep 808s, and his tracks have collectively garnered over 60 million streams across various platforms, with "WHEN I DROP THIS" achieving 2.7 million streams on Spotify. His innovative approach has attracted the attention of the industry's best like Skrillex, The Chainsmokers, Excision, Ekali, Alison Wonderland, and Dillon Francis. In 2018, NXSTY launched the MFKAS SoundCloud series, delivered a popular remix of Travis Scott's "SICKO MODE," and contributed three tracks to Excision's Lost Lands compilation, including "TEAR IT DOWN" with Bailo. The subsequent year, he released notable tracks such as "FLEX" with Snavs and the hard-hitting "BUCK," and embarked on the "Get Buck" tour, performing across North America, Europe, India, and Australia. In 2024, NXSTY showcased his versatility by collaborating with Cheyenne Giles and PARIS on the house track "Wildfire," released on Dim Mak. He also teamed up with SNAILS and GAWM on the bass-heavy track "Insane," delivering a relentless barrage of bass-heavy mayhem.
